Dari Hati . . .

andai engkau tahu
bila menjadi aku
sejuta rasa dihati
lama tlah kupendam
tapi akan kucoba mengatakan

reff:
ku ingin kau menjadi milikku
entah bagaimana caranya
lihatlah mataku untuk memintamu
ku ingin jalani bersamamu
coba dengan sepenuh hati
ku ingin jujur apa adanya
dari hati

kini engkau tahu
aku menginginkanmu
tapi takkan kupaksakan
dan kupastikan
kau belahan hati bila milikku
reff

menarilah bersamaku dengan bintang-bintang
sambutlah diriku untuk memelukmu
reff:

Diana Krall

Diana Krall was born in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada, on the 16th of November, 1964. Music was always playing in the Krall family household, making music an integral part of Diana's childhood since she was able to crawl.
She learned how to play the classical piano at the age of 4, and enjoyed playing the instrument along with her grandmother. She chose to take the jazz route in her teenage years, and played piano in a high school band. By the time she was 15, Diana was playing piano professionally, as a regular act in a hockey bar -- an appropriate venue for a Canadian.
In 1981, Diana attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, thanks to having won a Vancouver Jazz Fest scholarship. After a year and a half of studying in the United States, Diana returned to her native British Columbia. Diana's career as a jazz musician would finally become a reality after famous American musicians Ray Brown and Jeff Hamilton witnessed one of Diana's performances in Nanaimo.
Finally, she relocated in New York in 1990, where she began working on her first album. Stepping Out was released in 1993 on Justin Time Records, and featured long time mentor Ray Brown, Jeff Hamilton, and John Clayton.
As if the critical acclaim and commercial success of Diana's previous albums weren't enough, her latest album, When I Look Into Your Eyes (released on Verve in 1999), has been hailed as her best piece of work to date. Nominated for Best Album of the Year at this year's Grammy Awards, When I Look Into Your Eyes has become the first jazz album to earn a Best Album Grammy nomination in more than 20 years. It didn't win for Best Album, but the singer/songwriter/pianist did win the Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Performance (taken from AskMen.com)

Light Is More Important Than The Lantern

Light is more important than the lantern,
The poem more important than the notebook,
And the kiss more important than the lips.
My letters to you
Are greater and more important than both of us.
The are the only documents
Where people will discover
Your beauty
And my madness.

Dealova

Tanpamu sepinya waktu merantai hati
Oh bayangmu seakan-akan . . .

Kau seperti nyanyian dalam hatiku yang memanggil rinduku padamu Ooo
Seperti udara yang kuhela kau selalu ada . . .

Hanya dirimu yang bisa membuatku tenang
Tanpa dirimu aku merasa hilang
dan sepi . . dan sepi . . .

Kau seperti nyanyian dalam hatiku yang memanggil rinduku padamu Ooo
Seperti udara yang kuhela kau selalu ada . . .
Selalu ada . . .

I want to be your sweet dream
I want to be something that you could longing for
Since my footstep will be weaken without you
Oh since my heart was too tired...
I want to be something that you could touch
I want you to know that I always adore you
Without you this quiet moment is chaining my heart
Oh senses of you is as though as...
You are the song in my heart that called my longing for you Ooo
You are the air that I breath
you always there for me ...

Only you that could make me feel tranquil
Without you I feel lost
And in silence... And in silence...

You are the song in my heart that called my longing for you Ooo
You are the air that I breath
you always there for me . . .
Always there . . .
